Postnatal recovery takes time — physically, mentally, and emotionally. These classes are all about you as a mum, not just baby.
I know how it can feel after birth — whether you had a vaginal delivery, a caesarean, or a more complicated birth. Your body may feel fragile, your core and pelvic floor may feel different, and you may not even know where to start when it comes to moving again. That’s why we focus on safe, gentle recovery first — rebuilding core strength, supporting pelvic floor healing, and releasing tension step by step. These postnatal yoga classes in Macclesfield are designed to support your recovery after birth — physically, mentally, and emotionally.
I hear from so many new mums that they spend their weeks going from baby class to baby class, feeling constantly “on” for their baby — but rarely having a moment just for themselves. These postnatal yoga sessions are designed to be exactly that: a space where you can slow down, reconnect with your body, and breathe.
This is your chance to take a break from the rush of high-energy baby groups and sensory overload classes — to do something that supports your recovery and fills your cup.

Classes are suitable from 6–8 weeks postpartum (once cleared by your GP) and beyond. You’ll be guided to take the options that work best for your stage, the type of birth you had, so whether you’re in the early weeks or months later, you’ll leave feeling stronger, calmer and more confident. Many mums join after attending pregnancy yoga, while others find us later — you’re welcome whenever feels right.

Many mums choose to book the mum bundle, combining postnatal yoga with a baby massage course. Together, these sessions support both your recovery and your connection with your baby — gentle movement and nervous system regulation for you, and calm, nurturing touch for your baby.
It’s a slower, more nourishing alternative to busy baby groups, offering a relaxed community where there’s time for you as well as your baby, without the sensory overload of high-energy classes. The mum bundle also offers the best value when booking both together.
