The Birth Snug Workshop
A practical, interactive and personalised birth and postnatal preparation for you and your birth partner.
Prepare for the birth you hope for and build confidence to navigate the unexpected.
What would it feel like to go into birth knowing how your birth partner can support you, what you can ask if plans change, and how you’ll look after each other once your baby is here?
The Birth Snug Workshop is a small, personalised, hands-on workshop where you can make time for those conversations and practise together. We’ll bring birth science, hypnobirthing and practical preparation into one room, with space for the real feelings that come with becoming a parent.

Feel more prepared as a team
You may have read the books, taken a course, listened to the podcasts or tried hypnobirthing recordings. But you’re still wondering…
How painful is labour really going to be? Can I cope, especially if it goes on for hours? Will I remember my breathing, or feel too overwhelmed to use anything I’ve learnt?
Can I change my mind about pain relief? If an induction or caesarean is recommended, will I understand my options? Will I feel able to ask questions when everyone’s waiting for an answer?
Will my birth partner know what to do when I’m struggling? Can they help me feel comfortable and speak up for me without me having to explain everything?
Then there’s coming home. Who will help if breastfeeding is difficult, or support me if I choose formula? How do I say I don’t want my in-laws visiting the next day? Will my partner back me up and understand when I’m finding things hard?

What we’ll explore
The birth journey and the “what ifs”
We’ll start with an interactive game that gets you talking about birth and how you might respond when things take an unexpected turn. From there, we’ll explore a few situations shaped by the questions you share when booking. Through short role plays, you’ll practise putting risk information into context, asking useful questions and finding ways your birth partner can speak up for what matters to you.
Hypnobirthing and hands-on support
We’ll use simple visuals to show a little of what’s happening in the body during labour, then get hands-on. Together, you’ll try a few positions, comfort techniques and breathing tools, and explore what kind of words, touch or encouragement you’d welcome from your birth partner.
Preparing for the early weeks with your baby
From the first hours after birth through to the fourth trimester, we’ll make time for the practical and emotional side of coming home with a baby. You’ll begin a postnatal plan that makes room for the highs and lows: how you’ll share the load, find feeding support, manage visits and family expectations, and look after each other as you settle into life with your baby. What you write in your plan can stay between you.

Imagine feeling more confident about birth, because you’ve prepared together.
You still have questions, but you feel less alone with them. You have a clearer sense of what helps you feel grounded, what support you want and how to ask for it.
When labour feels intense, your birth partner has ways to help. You can lean on someone who understands you, without having to find the words for everything.
If plans change, you feel more able to ask questions, understand your options and be part of the conversation. You can work towards feeling heard and supported, even when birth looks different from what you imagined.
And when you come home with your baby, you’ve already talked about more than nappies and the nursery. Your partner understands why rest matters to you, how you feel about feeding and visitors, and what help might look like on a difficult day.
Those conversations can make it easier to ask for what you need, share responsibilities and recognise when the other person is struggling, helping you feel more connected as you find your feet as parents.

A little about me, Kinga
I'm a pregnancy yoga teacher, hypnobirthing practitioner, doula and mum, bringing together evidence-based birth education, holistic wellbeing and real-life experience.
Having experienced the value of doula support during my own birth, I know how much difference it can make to feel heard, understood and genuinely supported.
My approach goes beyond teaching techniques. I create space for you to explore, question, practise and connect, because birth preparation should be as individual as the people experiencing it.
A little science, a little soul, plenty of practical discovery, and absolutely no pressure to have the perfect birth.
